FAQs

DO I HAVE TO LIVE NEAR YOU TO WORK WITH YOU?

Thanks to telehealth, I am able to see clients virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.

What can i expecT?

Our first session will focus on gathering a detailed history of your physical and mental health, your environment, and even a few details about you as an infant. Then we will look at your current diet, physical activity, and your health goals.

Later sessions may focus on your relationship with food, specific digestive issues, building a health plan together, choosing recipes for your specific needs, or discussing barriers and challenges, just to name a few examples.

Why do you offer packages?

I take a root cause approach, looking at all aspects of your life: diet, lifestyle, labs, environment. Multiple appointments are needed to do appropriate assessment, protocol development, monitoring and evaluation.

who is your clientele?

All are welcome here. We are inclusive of all genders, sexual orientations, ages, ethnicities, etc.

Do You Take INsurance?

While I don't currently accept insurance, I do take HSA and FSA cards, and can provide a Superbill for you to file for out-of-network claims.

What makes you different?

My education and background has been a great blend of conventional and functional nutrition. I have taken all of the classes to become a Registered Dietitian, but then took additional classes on the Gut Microbiome and Nutrigenetics/Nutrigenomics in my Master’s program, and have continued to learn functional nutrition concepts throughout my internship.

Nutrition is an ever-evolving field, which means new evidence is always coming to light. I completed my M.S. in Nutrition and Human Performance in 2022, which means my education was based on some of the latest research!
